ARTIST STATEMENT

I focus my artwork on celebrating the female form by exploring how the interplays of light, texture and pattern affect the female anatomy.

While society often associates feelings of discomfort or embarrassment in the nude female figure, my art aims to shine a light on the true beauty of women in their most elemental and natural forms.

My artwork aims to capture themes of female independence, sensuality and pleasure. The women in my artwork showcase their unabashed confidence, either by making direct eye contact with the viewer or completely disregarding those who may look upon them. These women are complete in and of themselves—with no need for external stimulation, validation or admiration.
